Candidate matching and profiles get a major update + 5 new senate races

Recent work has strengthened the full comparison flow, from answering and weighing questions to reviewing candidate positions and match results.

  • Match scores now use weighted voter answers and candidate positions, with question IDs aligned to the position data.
  • Candidate profiles show biographies, photos, and sourced issue positions so voters can inspect the information behind a match.
  • Voters can set the importance of each answer and optionally save responses to an anonymous profile.
  • Question and candidate data loading, answer handling, and result feedback have been improved for a clearer experience.
  • 5 new key senate races added: Iowa, Texas, Alaska, Ohio, North Carolina.
